How many times did you lose your settings, bookmarks or even emails by reinstalling your operating system or simply reinstalled your Mozilla browser/email manager? Now you can no longer worry about losing anything!
A while ago, a free program called MozBackup was created hoping to get rid of any more problem caused by losing various settings or bookmarks. It evolved quite a bit since then and this nifty program can now be used for various programs in Mozilla suite:
- Firefox 1.0 - 1.5.0.x
- Thunderbird 1.0 - 1.5.0.x
- SeaMonkey 1.0a - 1.0.x
- Mozilla Suite 1.7 - 1.7.x
- Netscape 7.x
You can download it from:
http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.comMozBackup simply allows you to backup and restore bookmarks, mail, contacts, history, extensions, cache etc.
And what can be even better than this? Well, perhaps the fact that it's FREE and is compatible with Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP/2003 and translations are available in almost 40 languages so far!
Future versions are already on the test bench, author promising to add new features like support for command line and compatible even with Linux versions.
We can only be happy about it and give a big Thank you! for this wonderful tool. Keep up the good work!
